Coronavirus cluster emerges on South Coast

NSW Health is investigating a fresh coronavirus cluster on the South Coast.

Six people who dined at the Batemans Bay Soldiers Club have tested positive for Covid-19 taking the total number of cases linked to the venue to eight.

A father and son who stopped off at McDonalds in Albion Park Rail last Wednesday afternoon were the first known cases from the club.

NSW Health is urging anyone who attended the Batemans Bay venue on July 13, 15, 16 or 17 to get tested and self-isolate for 14 days, even if the result is negative.

The Soldiers Cub has been forced to close its doors for two weeks.

A COVID-19 Pop-up clinic at the Hanging Rock Oval Car Park (near the function centre) on Beach Road, Batemans Bay, will be open daily from 9:00am to 2:00pm until further notice.
