Hazmat needed after Shoalhaven accident

A driver has escaped uninjured after putting their utility into the drink in Terara over the weekend.

The utility ended up on its side in a creek.

The Hazmat crew from Fire and Rescue NSW Shellharbour was called to clean up a fuel and oil spill.

Fire and Rescue NSW said they applied absorbent booms around the incident and biodegradable product in the creek while the vehicle was retrieved from the water.
