The long-awaited Ulladulla Harbour Marina looks set to proceed, with $1.75 million allocated through the Bushfire Local Economic Fund to build 19 new boat berths.
Member for South Coast Shelley Hancock says the NSW Government acknowledges the need to boost the tourism economy, in particularly giving locals and visitors to the region greater access to watercraft.
"The berths upgrade will boost Ulladulla Harbour’s standing as a premier tourist destination and deliver a number of economic benefits for local businesses," Mrs Hancock said.
Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund applications opened last month for shovel ready projects and can be submitted by December 11, 2020.
Grants of between $200,000 and $20 million will be available to organisations through the open round, including councils, joint organisations, business chambers, charities, businesses and Local Aboriginal Land Councils to deliver successful projects.
