Police still looking for suspect after armed robbery in Ulladulla

Detectives have released CCTV images as they continue to investigate an armed robbery at an Ulladulla newsagency in late April.

Just before midday on Thursday April 29, a man – armed with a knife and with a stocking covering his face – entered the business on Wason Street and threatened a 53-year-old female employee.

Another employee, a 49-year-old man, intervened and handed the man cash before he fled.

Police believe the robber then took off in an older model red ford sedan.

The suspect is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his late 20s, about 175cm to 180cm tall with stubble.

Any information can be provided by calling Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
