Urgent action needed to fix sewerage services at Woollamia Vilage

Septic tank

A notice of motion will be put for forward at Shoalhaven City Council's next Strategy and Assets Committee meeting to discuss the lack of proper sewerage services at Woollamia Village.

The issue is a major health risk during heavy rains when the septic tanks overflow.

Councillor Greg Watson says for some reason the project was never included on the original subsidy schemes.

He'll be suggesting that council make an urgent application and if that's not forthcoming, then he'll be insisting they do it themselves.
