Fans were left worried after legendary rocker Rod Stewart suffered a frightening health scare during a concert in Utah over the weekend.

After taking a moment to recover, Stewart addressed the crowd with his trademark humour.

“I nearly fainted there,” he reportedly told concertgoers before asking if they minded if he finished the next song while seated.

Earlier this month, Stewart was forced to cancel and postpone several shows after being diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection that led to laryngitis. He had also been recovering from the flu in the weeks prior.

Thankfully, despite the scare, Stewart was able to finish the concert and continue entertaining fans.

At 81 years old, most people are slowing down. Rod Stewart is still touring the world, selling out venues and keeping crowds entertained. He may have needed a quick oxygen break this time around, but the veteran performer showed he is still determined to keep the show going.
