Not much longer now until Marvel’s first family joins the MCU!
Honestly, the Fantastic Four seems to have been one family that Marvel has never been able to quite nail when it comes to leaping off the page to the screen. With both the 2005 & 2007 films with Jessica Alba being kinda just “okay” and the 2015 reboot with Miles Teller being better off not spoken about. But the first reactions to this weeks new Fantastic Four adaptation with stars Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn and Pedro Pascal have come in and seems that Marvel has finally given their first family the treatment they’ve long needed.
Many early viewers are claiming the film to be a visual feast for the eyes and easily one of Marvel’s best masterpieces since the beginning of the MCU. Many highlight that Vanessa Kirby is the run-away star of the new film.
The Fantastic Four kicks off the beginning of Phase 6 and was supposed to be the final film before Avengers: Doomsday next year. But now that Doomsday has been delayed from initial May release date to December 18 the next film after The Fantastic Four is Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Brand New Day.
What do you think? Will you be checking out Fantastic Four: First Steps when it drops in cinemas this Thursday?
