There is little hope a woman who fell from a cliff at Belmore Falls near Robertson survived the ordeal.
A search has resumed for a woman missing while bushwalking at Belmore Falls.
Just after 1.00pm on Sunday ( 7 April 2024) emergency services were called to Belmore Falls near Robertson, following reports a woman had slipped and fallen 100 metres down a cliff.
An multi-agency air and land search, involving Police Divers continued yesterday, however, the 20-year-old woman was not located, and the search was again suspended at dusk, due to low light.
A command post has been established at the Belmore Falls Lookout car park off Belmore Falls Road
Authorities said they’re now probably searching for a body.
Belmore Falls access remains shut to the public until Wednesday (10 April 2024).
