A woman has been airlifted to Liverpool hospital after falling several metres in bushland near Tahmoor.
The incident happened at about 10.15m on Monday February 5 yesterday morning about a kilometre upstream from Mermaid Falls.
Rescue vehicles couldn’t reach the site, so crews walked into the rugged bush and carried the injured 20-year old out on a stretcher.

She reportedly suffered a fractured ankle.
