Gun shots fired during Tahmoor home invasion

Police have commenced an investigation following an alleged home invasion on the Southern Highlands.

About 10.40pm yesterday (Monday 3 June 2024), emergency services were called to Lintina Street, Tahmoor, following reports gun shots had been heard.

On arrival, Police were told three men had forced entry into a home and assaulted an 18-year-old man, before leaving on foot toward Mitchell Street.

Police believe shots were also fired at the time, however, there have been no reports of injuries as a result of the shots.

The 18-year-old was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Campbelltown Hospital in a stable condition.

Two other occupants of the home, an 18-year-old woman and an infant child, were not injured.

Police have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
