Local SES units have pulled off a daring rescue after a bushwalker got lost at Tahmoor on Monday.
Wingecarribee and Moss Vale units were called out to a cliff near Mermaid Pools by police.
A bushwalker had lost her way during the afternoon, and was sighted by PolAir.

Vertical Rescue operators were winched down to reach the bushwalker, and were able to get her out of the bush, uninjured and in good spirits shortly after midnight, with the assistance of Police and NSW Ambulance.
Local leaders praised the SES volunteers for the quick response.
