Man charged over traffic and assault offences

A man has been charged over a number of traffic and assault offences in Tahmoor.

Just before 7pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to a service station on Thirlmere Way, after a pedestrian was hit by a car.

Police found a 52-year-old man suffering from scratches and bruises.

Officers were told there was an argument involving the man and another driver, who had left the scene.

The man was treated by Paramedics for minor injuries.

Following inquiries, a 46-year-old man was arrested in Thirlmere, about 9.15pm on the same day, before being taken to Narellan Police station.

He was charged with drive furiously in motor vehicle do/cause bodily harm, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, and common assault.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Picton Local Court on Wednesday October 18.
