Locals might spot a few familiar sights in a new Aussie film- The Appleton Ladies Potato Race.
The movie was filmed in the Southern Highlands, and drew inspiration from the Robertson Show.
The film tells the story of a small town’s fight for equality in the annual potato race.

Producer Andrea Keir said she wanted to support regional towns and their stories.
“Everyopne will see the Bundanoon Hall, they’ll identitfy all the beautiful surroundings.”
“We shot so much down there in the Southern Highlands, in Robertson, Bundanoon and Burrawang.”
The film airs on TV tomorrow night.
