Volunteers at the Picton Rural Fire Service have been left disheartened after someone cut the electrics to their new gate.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Tuesday night between 7:30 and 9:30.
The brigade raised $6000 to fund the project.

Senior Deputy Captain Andrew Hayne said it now means they have to manually unlock the gates, during an emergency.
“It’s very disappointing to see that happening,
“I can’t fathom why someone would do something like that,”Captain Hayne said
