School kids recieve next-gen farming tool

Students at the Southern Highlands Chevalier College are the lucky new owners of a new iFarm.

The iFarm is fully computerised interactive farm research station designed for Australian high schools.

Teacher Verity Gett says the farm will help kids use science and maths in the real world.

“It’s hands-on, and engaging, and from an agronomist’s persepctive, it’s great to be able to show the kids what we’re teaching them out of a book on our ag farm.”

Over 50 iFarms have been distributed to schools across Australia.
