Wingecarribee Council Director resigns

Wingecarribee Council Director, Communities and Place, Adan Davis will be stepping down from his role as Director, Communities and Place, effective from Friday 17 May 2024.

In a statement Council said it understands and supports his decision as he prioritises his family circumstances.

Council’s General Manager, Lisa Miscamble said, “We are grateful for Adan’s significant contributions to Wingecarribee Shire Council during his tenure.

“His leadership and expertise have been instrumental in delivering positive outcomes to the community across his broad portfolio and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”

Mr Davis said, “I have enjoyed my time at Wingecarribee, working with a great team of people at Council and the community. It has been a difficult decision however ultimately the right one for my family and myself.

“I have every confidence in the leadership at Council and believe that Wingecarribee has a bright future” Mr Davis said.

Council’s Manager, Waste and Resource Management, Clinton McAlister, will be appointed Acting Director, Communities and Place while Council undertakes the recruitment process, which will commence shortly
