Shoalhaven Heads Pumper and Tanker were responded to reports of a persons trapped MVA on Bolong Road, Bolong.
Early information suggested the occupant was trapped in the vehicle with smoke issuing.
First arriving NSWFR firefighters located a single vehicle crashed approximately 60m into a paddock, with a fuel-fed fire igniting upon our arrival.
Crews quickly deployed hose lines to the incident, with firefighters wearing CABA working to ensure all occupants were out of the vehicle.
Thankfully, the occupant was dragged from vehicle by quick thinking bystanders.
Crews worked for some time using foam to extinguish the fire, putting down a large foam blanket to combat the fuel fire.
At the height of the incident various appliances from Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance and NSW Police were all on-scene.
