Shoalhaven Rural Fire Service member Victor Judson has been awarded the Australian Fire Service Medal in the Kings Birthday Honours List.
He’s been involved in firefighting for more than 53 years and is currently Deputy Captain of the West Nowra Brigade where he is also a life member.
Mr. Judson has also had stints at Cambewarra and Illaroo and lead teams during the 2019/2020 Comberton/Currowan bushfires.

He’s admired and revered for his no nonsense approach to firefighting and actively participates in all brigade activities.
