The Kiama lighthouse is just one of Australia’s iconic landmarks being bathed in yellow for National Road Safety Week 202 (5 – 12 May).
The lighthouse is being lit up each night, from 8pm to midnight, to honour the memory of the 1,200 people who die on Australia’s roads each year.
During Road Safety Week we can all take an online pledge to not drive distracted, not speed and to never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
