A 50 year old man remains in Wollongong hospital after being crushed by an excavator in a Currarong construction site this morning.
Ambulance arrived at the scene on Currarong road south of Culburra beach at around 7:44am.
NSW Ambulance Inspector Norm Rees saying the man has multiple lacerations and fractures from a 300 kilogram metal bucket that rolled onto his legs.
