Multiple units from the NSWRFS, FRNSW, Police and Ambulance responded to reports of an aircraft which was forced to perform an emergency landing in the vicinity of Coolangatta Road, Far Meadow.
Both Shoalhaven Heads Pumper, Tanker and P224 Berry were quick to respond, working across multiple local roads to locate the incident.
Shortly after, firefighters located a small single engine aircraft which had performed an emergency landing in a paddock. Crews worked to secure the scene and assess the pilot who had managed to successfully land the aircraft, avoiding injury or serious damage to the plane.
