Crash victim airlifted

Emergency services responded to reports that a vehicle had crashed into a tree along Forest Road, Comberton just after midday on Thursday January 8.

The driver and sole occupant a 46-year-old man, was trapped in the car until released by rescue personnel.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and airlifted to St George Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Nowra Highway Patrol have commenced an investigation into the matter.
