The National Parks and Wildlife Service is carrying out a hazard reduction burn in the Jervis Bay National Park from today.
The six hectare burn will take place along Naval College Road, just west of Bayswood, with the aim of reducing fuel loads and protecting nearby residents and businesses.
Traffic control will be in place along sections of Naval College Road and motorists are reminded to exercise caution and drive to conditions.

People with breathing difficulties are being asked to stay indoors.
