The Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens Education Centre is officially opening.
The Education Centre will enable local school excursions and other groups to learn about local flora and fauna, sustainable gardening practices, horticulture and conservation, as well as how to care for Australia’s environment.
The Centre includes an education room, kitchenette, a clock tower, accessible pathways and storerooms.

The Albanese Government committed half a million dollars towards the local project.
