A multi-agency search for missing man Mark Lindsay will resume today after being suspended overnight.
Police, along with volunteers from the SES, VRA and RFS, spent the day searching rugged bushland around Barren Ridge Road, Clyde Ridge Road and Yadboro Road, as well as the upper reaches of the Clyde River. Search crews worked on foot and used vehicles to access fire trails and forestry tracks through the heavily forested area.
Authorities say the terrain is difficult to access, making search efforts challenging. The operation was paused overnight and is set to continue on Wednesday, July 29.
Police have thanked the community for its assistance, saying investigators have already received a substantial amount of useful information. Anyone with information that may help locate Mark Lindsay is urged to contact the South Coast Police District or Crime Stoppers.
