Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Prince Highway at the intersection with Jervis Bay Road for maintenance work to be carried out including road surfacing.
To minimise the impact on motorists, work will be carried out at night between 9pm and 5amon the following dates:
· Monday 27, Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 July
· Monday 3 and Wednesday 5 August
· Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 August
· Monday 17, Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 August
During work hours, Jervis Bay Road will be closed between the Princes Highway and Gardner Road. Residential and emergency services access will be maintained.
Traffic wishing to access Vincentia, Huskisson and other villages to the east of the Highway should detour via the Princes Highway to Island Point Road then The Wool Road.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, follow the directions of signs and traffic control and allow an extra 15 minutes of travel time.
